خلاصه مقاله:
The development of electrocatalysts with good efficiency, stability, and low cost for hydrogenevolution reaction (HER) is significant for the energy future in the world. In the present study, Ag and Pd wereelectrodeposited on polyaniline (PANI) coated Ni foam and applied for HER in ۰.۱ M H۲SO۴. The morphology,structure, and chemical composition of the prepared electrodes were analyzed by field emission scanningelectron microscopy equipped with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (FESEM-EDX) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). Electrochemical techniques including cyclic voltammetry (CV), linear sweep voltammetry (LSV),chronoamperometry (CA), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used for nickel foammodification and investigation of HER. The obtained results showed that the Pd and AgPd in the presence ofPANI deposited on Ni foam have a high current density of ۱۶۲ and ۱۴۳ mA. cm-۲, low η۱۰, -۱۳۷ and -۱۱۱ mVrespectively, high stability, and low charge transfer resistance. According to these advantages, also accordingto rapid and easy electrode preparation, the proposed electrode can be used as a cathode electrode in theHER process
