خلاصه مقاله:
Vaccination is one of the most effective tools in managing and controlling the prevalence of COVID-۱۹ disease. However, the result of worldwide vaccination programs is the generation of a considerable amount of vaccine waste all over the world. This situation requires a suitable management framework to prevent economic and environmental impacts as much as possible. In this paper, a new mixed-integer linear model is developed for managing of vaccination waste network in the COVID-۱۹ pandemic. The presented model aims to determine the optimal decision of the multi-echelon multi-product multi-period vaccine waste supply chain so that total cost is minimized. The presented model is solved via the CPLEX solver for a case study in Tehran, Iran. Also, some sensitivity analysis is performed to provide more insights into the performance of the model
