Nanofluids are suspensions of nanoparticles (at least one dimension less than ۱۰۰ nm) in a base fluid with improved thermal, rheological, and wettability properties. Additionally, they increase the performance of several applications such as heat transfer, lubrication, Pharmacology, and enhanced oil recovery. However, nanofluids face a critical bottleneck in terms of their stability. As a result of its instability, nanofluids lose their ability to perform over time. In order for nanofluids to succeed in industrial applications, their stability and reusability must be addressed. An overview of Influential factors for nanofluid stability and a case study are presented in this article. The use of nanofluids in practical systems results from an application of this technology.
