Abstract:
One of the efficient ways of water treatment methods is coagulation and flocculation. The metallic ones are popular because of their efficiency and economical price; the studies shown that polymeric coagulators are more efficient than simple coagulator materials like AlCl۳ in water treatment. The efficiency of polymeric coagulators is in direct relation with, chemical and physical characteristics of source water. In this study, recent inorganic polymeric coagulation materials are studied, and water parameters like turbidity, ultraviolet light absorption at ۲۵۴nm (UV۲۵۴), Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC), and pH are pointed to show the efficiency of inorganic polymers in different situations.
