خلاصه مقاله:
A stamp or postal stamp is a printed document that indicates the prepayment of an amount for postal services. The stamp is usually prepared in the form of a small and square paper, which has a toothed shape on its four sides, and a special glue is applied on the back, which becomes sticky when it comes into contact with water. Affixing a stamp to a letter or postal package indicates that the sender has paid the amount necessary to send the shipment in full, or a part of it. If the value of the affixed stamp is lower than the price of the corresponding postal service, it is said that the shipment has a "deductible stamp". The printing of themed stamps after the Islamic Revolution is a continuation of the process of Mohammad Reza Shah's period, as in the previous two periods, with the difference that political and religious subjects were also added to them. In this research, an attempt is made to investigate the aesthetic effect of the stamp and compare it in the political history of two different periods of Iran (before and after the revolution).
