Abstract:

The surface is the most important part of any engineering component. It is well known that most components fail from surface initiated defects suchas wear or corrosion.in this paper experimental conditions has been studied in order to reach the best electrodeposition condition to increase corrosionresistance and greater microhardness of composites containing nanoparticles in a metal deposit. By using different examples of nanoparticles deposited in ametal matrix, a general behavior could be concluded for almost all type of composites containing nanoparticles in a metal deposit. Effect of the appliedcurrent density, the particle type and concentration and bath agitation or electrode movement has beeninvestigated
