Abstract:

Today, with the expansion of energy productiontechnologies, increasing attention to environmental issues andinterest in improving the reliability of electrical networks, thepossibility and motivation to change distribution networks frompassive to active and the desire to produce renewable energy atthe level of the distribution system has been provided. On theother hand, connecting scattered production resources tocurrent distribution networks has not met the technical andeconomic needs of investors. While it was expected that thepower quality would be improved by increasing the penetrationrate of distributed generation sources, the opposite results havebeen obtained due to power fluctuations caused by thedifference in voltage and frequency of different renewableenergy sources. Although the use of distributed generationresources can potentially reduce the need to expand traditionalelectrical networks, controlling a large number of them alongwith controllable loads has created a new challenge in thecontrol and operation of a reliable and economical network.This challenge is reduced to the same extent by smart networkby reducing the control responsibility of the network and makesit possible to obtain the maximum economic efficiency.Therefore, the right solution is to build small networksindependent of the main network. So this study introduces smartnetwork and its components.
