Place Bonding Is the Most Important Factor in Creating Sense of place in Rural Communities (Case study: Tabriz city villages)

Place bonding is also an emotional component that can have an impact on creating sense of place. Place bonding is basically the kind of emotional connections people have with a geographical location. This research has been carried out under the title "Effect of place bonding on the sense of place creation in the villages of Tabriz city". The statistical population of this research includes all the villages of Tabriz city residents, which according to Morgan's table, a sample size of ۳۹۱ people was obtained. This research conducted via surveying method. A random cluster sampling method was used to select the statistical sample. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. Cronbach's alpha was used to check the reliability of the questionnaire. After collecting, the data was entered into SPSS version ۱۸ and analyzed. To check the data normality, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to test the hypotheses of structural equation modeling. The results showed that place identity, place well-being, environmental quality, place bonding and social connections have a significant positive effect on the sense of place. Place bonding with an impact factor of ۰ ۹۰ has the greatest impact on the sense of place.
