Abstract:

Background and Objectives: Kondor (Olibanum) is a medicinal plant from the Sapindales order. One of its benefits is memory enhancement and its juice is also used as a deodorizer. Green tea is oneof the most famous drinks in the world, which most people know for its fat-burning and slimmingproperties. Berberine is an alkaloid salt found in many plants, including Berberis aquifolium andBerberis vulgaris. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating herbal medicines inthe treatment of ovarian cancer.Materials and Methods: In this descriptive-analytical study, ۱۱-keto-beta-busulic acid, green teaextract and berberine derivatives and its effect on Ca۱۲۵ protein were investigated using moleculardocking method. The Pub Chem site at pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov, Dragbank www.drugbank.com,software Chimera ۱.۱۵ and PyRx and www.uniprot.org. were used to examine ۱۱-Keto-betaboswellicacid and green tea extract and Berberine derivatives. Results: According to docking studies, we found that the combination of berberine and green teaextract with negative affinity and RMSD has a better effect on Ca۱۲۵ protein to induce apoptosis andprevent the growth of cancer cells. Having antioxidant properties, producing anti-tumor enzymes incells, inhibiting stimulating enzymes cancer, helping to repair DNA and increasing the body'simmunity is able to inhibit the invasive potential of ovarian cancer cells. Conclusion: These herbal medicines have anti-cancer effects depending on the concentration, timeand type of compounds in them and can be effective in inhibiting the growth of ovarian cancer cells.
