خلاصه مقاله:
In this research, the effect of adding carbide powder particles (TiC-NbC) and the formation of metal matrix compositewelding zone (MMC) was done by TIG welding process and the effect of different weight percentages of these particleson microhardness was studied. For this purpose, welding operation was performed with a current intensity of ۱۲۰ ampsand a speed of ۱.۳۶ mm/s on A-۵۱۶ steel with a thickness of ۱۰ mm and an outer diameter of ۲۴ inches, and differentweight ratios of TiC/NbC particles were placed in the welding area. The filler metal used in this study was ER۷۰S-۲. Inorder to check the hardness profile in the cross section of the welded samples, microhardness test was used. The highesthardness was obtained in the TN۱۰۰ composite weld sample (composite weld containing ۱۰۰% TiC carbidemicroparticles).
