The rule of viral infections in Guillain-Barre syndrome

BackgroundGuillain-Barre Syndrome is the most common cause of acute flaccid paralysis. The main cause of this disease is the presence of active antibodies against the myelin sheath around the myelin sheath, which can occur at any age. About ۱۰۰,۰۰۰ people worldwide are affected by this syndrome annually. The aim of this study was to evaluate Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) and any possible association between this syndrome and viruses.Methods:Materials a Methods: Our aim of this study was to investigate the GBS and its relationship with viruses. The search strategy performed in PubMed, NCBI, Google Scholar, EMBASE and Medline on Cancer and oxidative stress and Gene manipulation up to ۱۰ June ۲۰۲۲ by searching the following keywords: viruses, guillain-barre syndrome, GBS and viruses. We removed the duplicated articles with the same content, and the same cancers repeated in studied essays. Screening just the title abstract removed articles with the incoherent subject. Then we assessed the remaining articles’ full text precisely for the competency.Results:A total of ۱۹ articles were included in this study .in fact Guillain-Barre syndrome recurs in only ۷ to ۱۰ percent of children which can be chronic and can lead to this disorder .multivariate analyses that GBS patients with jejunal infections ۳۲% .cytomegalovirus (CMV)۱۳%.and Epstein Barr EBV ۱۰% were much higher than the control group ۱۲%.Mycoplasma pneumonia infection ۵% occurs more in patients than control group ۱%.parainfluenza virus ۱(۱%).Haemophilus influenza (۱%).Influenza A (۱%).Influenza B (۱%).Adenovirus (۱%).Varicella virus shingles (۱%).and Herpes simplex (۱%) were also present in GBS patients.Conclusions:About two-thirds of people that get the Guillain-Barre syndrome approximately ۷۰% of patients before this patients recure to Guillain-Barre syndrome approximately one week until six weeks ago these patients get viral infection .in attention to this point existing nearly relation between getting Glenn Barre syndrome and viral infection.
