Abstract:

The research takes into account the effect of the rotation of the Earth on seismic events. It is shown that the seismicity of the territory of Iran is caused by its geographical location, i.e., at a place where global belts cross, stretching between latitudes of 35-36 and longitudes 56-57. The repetition of earthquakes during periods of various duration – from one day to whole centuries – suggests that changes in the speed of a planet’s movement are caused by the interaction of magnetic spheres with the solar wind.
