Abstract:
In this article an optimal robust control approach for a multi-input multi-output fighter aircraft system is presented. Some more introductions about the fundamental aspects of the Direct Nyquist Array control theory are addressed, and it shows an application option through simulation in MATLAB. The movement of an aircraft can be modeled with a linear time invariant dynamic system, which must be controlled by a flight controller. This method is used to reject interactions between states of aircraft and minimize error magnitude. This article contains the synthesis and analysis of the stability and other qualitative control parameters of the flight control using an optimal robust controller. The performance of the controller is evaluated in simulations and show that the proposed controller rejects persistent disturbances, which is quantized by a very small magnitude of the mean error.
