A one-pot four-component reaction between alkyl cyanoacetate, ۴-methylthiazole-۲- carbaldehyde and ۵-chloro-۸-nitroisoquinoline in the presence of isocyanide derivatives t proceeded at room temperature and under mild conditions to afford the new approaches in order to synthesis of alkyl-۳-(alkyl/arylimino)-۷-chloro-۱-cyano-۲-(۴-methylthiazol-۲-yl)-۱۰-nitro- ۱,۲,۳,۱۰b-tetrahydropyrrolo[۲,۱-a]isoquinoline-۱-carboxylate derivatives, in excellent yields. All products were established by IR, ۱H, ۱۳CNMR, Mass spectroscopy and elemental analysis.
