خلاصه مقاله:
Road transport is one of the most complex and dangerous systems that people deal with on a daily basis. The Tehran-Isfahan axis is one of the most vital roads and part of the arterial roads of the country, but nevertheless has accident hotspots, which occur in these points due to non-technical and unsafe road conditions, severe and deadly accidents. In this study, the amount and severity of road accidents on the Isfahan-Tehran axis in ۲۰۱۱ and ۲۰۱۶ and the role of various factors in the occurrence of these accidents have been investigated and accident hotspots have been identified. For this purpose, the Hot Zone method, which represents the ease of use and more accuracy in identifying accident hotspots on the road, was used. In the present study, the Hot Zone model was implemented in GIS software.
