In this research sulfonated poly (arylene ether ketone) copolymers of 4,4 -(1,4- phenylene diisopropyledene) bisphenol and 4,4 -(1,3- phenylene diisopropyledene) bisphenol, with diflouro benzophenone (DFB) and 3,3- disodiumsulfonyl -4,4 -diflourobenzophenone (SDFB) were synthesized. These sulfonated copolymers were photochemically crosslinked using benzophenone as the photo-initiator. Some physical and thermal properties of the polymers were investigated and compared with uncrosslinked polymers.
