Abstract:
In recent years there has been increasing interest in the applications of synthesized molecules of nanometer scale. It is due to their potential utilization in various fields such as biology, optoelectronics and textiles [1]. Among these molecules, an attractive candidate is dendrimer, a novel type of synthetic polymers, which have distinctive features and various potential applications because their size, shape, flexibility and symmetry. Surface functionality can be controlled at molecular scale. Particularly, dendrigraft polymers are generally larger structures than dendrimers, it grow much faster, and amplify surface groups more dramatically as a function of generational development [2].Dendritic products with desired structures and properties have to be characterized. Structure and properties include features such as surface hydrophilicity and roughness. For specific application the determination of these properties are vital [3]. In this work, we used divergent synthetic route for the synthesis of a dendritic polymer on the surface of (Acrylonitrile/Acrylic acid) copolymer (P(AN/AA)) film dendrigrafted with citric acid(CA).
