the effect of the synergic controlled pulsed GMAW-P and manual gas metal arc GMAW welding techniques on mechanical properties injoining of AISI 430 /AISI 1030 steel couples

in this study AISI 430/AISI 1030 steel couples having two differne properties of 10mm thick were welded by using the synergic controlled pulsed GMAW-P and manual gas metal arc GMAW welding techniques in these techniques constant wire feed speed and voltage 3.2 mmin,22.5V were used the interface appearance of the welded samples was examined by optical microscopy in order to determine mechanical properties of samples the tensile and microhardness tests were conducted at the end of these tests the best result was obtained from the synergic controlled pulsed GMAW-P technique.
