خلاصه مقاله:
Given the fact that most of the building mass in cities and rural areas in cold climates is for residentialpurposes, giving basic education to architects in ways of decreasing energy use in buildings can fulfilla great role in the industry. Identifying the practical and theoretical capabilities in this subject canportray a proper role in educating architects for further constructions leading to sustainable energy use.This research aims to gain a better education model by studying the resources on sustainablearchitecture and optimized energy use patterns in cold climate houses. By analyzing the primary andsecondary resources in hand on the subject, in both universal and national scales, we obtain twotheoretical areas, education with purpose and up-to-date and cultural status and work ethics, and thepractical area, software capabilities, building and new technologies in sustainable architecture. Alsoaccording to the data we employ, the factors contributing to the sustainability of a house in a coldclimate devise to different groups such as maintaining the sustainable design principles in producingheat and cold, ventilation, light passage, proper use of sun and wind energies and the choice of colorand quality of the building materials.
