خلاصه مقاله:
In this research, ۲D phononic crystals with boron-nitride lattice is investigated. The structure is composed ofmercury cylinders in water matrix and vice versa. The radii of cylinders are ۱mm and ۵۰۰μm. The study is carried outby finite element method using the Comsol software. The band structure and the transmission analysis implemented fordifferent radii of scatterers in the range of ۲۵۰μm-۱mm, are in a good agreement. The largest bandgap has been achievedfor the largest rod which resembles the honeycomb array for water cylinders in mercury background. The proposedstructure provides large degree of freedom and is applicative in design of diverse acoustical devices such as insulators inultrasonic frequency range.
