One of the concerns of the contemporary era is the reduction of energy consumption in buildings. According to the progress of science and technology, the use of renewable energy is the most effective way to control energy consumption. The sun is one of the best endless sources of energy, and solar energy plays an irreplaceable role in providing energy for domestic use, including providing energy for heating and cooling buildings. This article, with the aim of emphasizing the importance of using renewable energy and specifically solar energy, seeks to find effective climate solutions to reduce energy consumption in buildings. The information collected in this research is based on library studies. The results of the research show that the use of solar energy is one of the best ways to reduce energy consumption in buildings, according to climatic patterns.
