خلاصه مقاله:
Background and Aim: Nurses face various stresses during their service, such as burnout. Burnout is caused by constant stress and leaves many complications in the family, social and individual life, and the organization. The aim of this study was to investigate the burnout rate of nurses in different intensive care units, obstetrics and gynecology wards, and neonatal wards. Materials and Methods: This was a descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study. The statistical population of this study was all nurses working in intensive care units, obstetrics and gynecology, and neonatal wards of public hospitals in Gorgan in ۲۰۱۷. Using the Georgian and Morgan table, ۱۶۲ people were selected by convenience sampling. The Maslach burnout questionnaire was used to collect data. Analysis of variance was used to analyze the data at a significance level of less than ۰.۰۵. Results: The results showed that there is a significant difference in burnout between nurses in intensive care unit, gynecology and neonatal ward (P<۰.۰۰۱) and nurses in intensive care unit have the highest burnout (P<۰.۰۰۱). Conclusion: Based on this research, it can be inferred that increasing workload, consecutive shifts without rest, over time provides the basis for burnout.
