خلاصه مقاله:
Commiphora Mukul and Artichoke are medicinal plants of high value, have long been used in folkmedicine in many countries, the active extracts have been used to treat several ailments related tohigh cholesterol, liver diseases, antiobesity and blood glucose. Many studies were conduct toevaluate the chemical properties, effective materials, the pharmacological and morphologicalproperties of the Commiphora Mukul and Artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.) , studies have proven theeffect and role of Guggul (gum resin) and the artichoke leaf extract (ALE) in reducing the harmfulcholesterol in blood (LDL), triglycerides, enhancing blood flow in the arteries , help to avoid thehealth problems related to the heart disease, atherosclerosis , prevent the synthesis of hepaticcholesterol in an indirect way and obesity , In addition have many other medical benefits such asantioxidative, antibacterial. The aim of this review is to update the data of describing theCommiphora Mukul and Artichoke and the role of the active substances of the treatment and reducingof the level of cholesterol and hyperlipidemia in human.
