Reaction of parahydroxy benzaldehyde with different ketones or parahydroxy acetophenone and various aldehydes and then adding ۲,۶-dichloroquinoxaline, under ultrasound radiation, produced conjugated chalcone-quinoxalines as anti-cancer materials. In this protocol, AlCl۳ in EtOH provide a green condition for synthesis of products in short time and good yields.
