خلاصه مقاله:
In order to further improve the service life, mechanical properties of Polyethylene Foams preparedthrough Extrusion Foaming Procedure were studied. Mechanical properties can be used for qualitycontrol purposes. It may also be employed to obtain reference values from which design values can becalculated using safety factors. Experimental Study of mechanical properties allowed us to predict theperformance as well as determining acceptable characteristics of produced foams. The mechanicalproperties of flexible cellular materials are overall associated with their density. In this study, mechanical properties of polyethylene foams are investigated by Compressive stress, Compression set,Tensile strength and elongation at break in the same density.
