Abstract:
In this article, the effects of gamma and neutron radiation on different temperature sensors are investigated. To investigate the effect of radiation, thermocouple sensors, AD۵۹۰ and TMP۳۶ were selected.The mentioned sensors were irradiated under different doses. The results of the tests show that the output signals of these sensors undergo an offset due to radiation.The amount of this offset in thermocouple sensors was very small and can be neglected. On the contrary, in sensors based on integrated circuits, these changes were significant, and these changes in the TMP۳۶ sensor increase to about a few degrees.
