خلاصه مقاله:
IntroductionChildbirth is a special event in women's lives and a necessary indicator to evaluate the quality of care.[۱] Women are vulnerable during childbirth because they need care, however, they prioritize relational elements in their experience.[۲] The core value expected by most health care professionals internationally is to provide care that respects and protects the dignity of service users.[۳] Respectful maternal care is an approach that preference both mother and baby and provides access to evidence-based care.[۴]Method and Materials:This study is reviewed by latest articles in this field from ۲۰۱۵ to ۲۰۲۳ with search in reliability web site as PubMed, Web of science, Science direct, Google Scholar, Ovid/MEDLINE, EMBASE, up to date,Springer,SID and Scopus.Result:Among the factors that determine satisfaction with care are promptness, accessibility, good physical environment, cleanliness, privacy and confidentiality, adequate emotional support, confidentiality of information, feeling of trust and confidence in the midwife, content of breastfeeding education, cleaning of the pain room and auxiliary services.[۵, ۶] Several factors such as lack of awareness of the indications of examination and history of sexual abuse or fetal loss cause women to feel threatened and dissatisfied while being examined. The lowest satisfaction, regarding the environmental factors, was related to silence in the pain room[۶]. Negative experiences during the caregiving process, which contributed to the mothers' low level of satisfaction, included being disrespected or humiliated, asking for informal payment, being physically abused, or being abandoned when they needed help.[۵]Conclusion: Patients expected a fair deal, respect and dignity for themselves and their families, medication and answers to their questions about the disease.[۵] One of the things that still needs to be improved is the midwife's attention to the patient and his emotional support. Continuous support and psychological communication with the patient during childbirth can have a great impact on her self-confidence and satisfaction.[۶]
