In this study, novel MXene/MIL-۱۰۱ nanocomposite synthesized through the solvothermal method and characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (IR), and field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) analyses. The adsorption performance of MIL-۱۰۱ and MXene/MIL-۱۰۱ nanocomposite for Rhodamine B (RhB) was studied. The nanocomposite exhibited good efficiency in the removal of Rhodamine B (RhB) at room temperature, ۲۵ mg L−۱ initial dye concentration. Therefore, MXene/MIL-۱۰۱ nanocomposite could be regarded as a promising adsorbent for the removal of dye pollutants due to its high adsorbent activity, good reusability, and easy preparation. MXene/MIL-۱۰۱ nanocomposite can be reused at least four times.
