خلاصه مقاله:
Evaluation of interphase heat transfer in multiphase non-isothermal processes such as Trickle Bed Reactors (TBR) is one of the interest subjects in engineering sciences. In this article heat transfer between gas and liquid phases has been developed based on meso-scale modeling in trickle bed flow regime at different operational and physical condition. In meso-scale simulation interphase heat transfer has been investigated in three different catalysts shapes with appropriate configuration by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technique and Volume of Fluid (VOF) approach. The studied catalyst shapes are trilobe, cylindrical and spherical. The effects of dimensionless numbers have been studied on interphase heat transfer behavior
