Several problems are associated with regrouping the original components into a smaller number without losing the predicting power of the equation of state. These problems include, How toselect the groups of pure components to be represented by one pseudo-component. In this paper,the impacts of the lumping techniques are compared with the real data for gas condensate systems to find accurate lumping for an accurate fluid characterization. The results show that Lee at al. lumping scheme has very good accuracy compared to the other methods
