Cementing operation is one of the most critical processes in a well; therefore the appropriate design is an important factor foe a successful well operation during both drilling and production.This paper is investigating a well design for Ahwaz oil field. In this process all the effective parameters have been considered for slurry design, the analysis of both surface and underground waters indicated that both water containing sulfate and corrosive materials therefore sulfate water to be considered in this design and the slurry used in this operation must be resistant against sulfate water. Sulfate water may have no short term impact on concrete but in long term reduces the concrete strength; therefore it has to be considered in the design
