A heterogeneous, magnetically recoverable Fe۳O۴@BHA@Cu (II) nanocomposite was prepared by immobilization of a novel Cu(II) complex on nanoparticles. The catalytic activity of this new magnetic nanocatalyst was examined synthesis of tetrazole derivative. In all the cases, the catalyst could be easily recovered magnetically for at least ۴ runs and the obtained product was isolated using a simple work-up procedure. In our protocol, the green solvent avoids the problems such as cost, handling, safety and pollution which are related to solvent use
