Erythromycin (ERY) is one of the most common antibiotics used in human and veterinary practices, leading to ubiquitous environmental distribution and possible toxicity to non-target organisms. The purpose of this study was to determine sub-lethal effects of ERY on some heamatological paramaters of the red tilapia (Oreochromis sp) have a total weight (Wt) which varies (۱۹≤Wt (g)≤۸۹) with a length varies (۱۰.۵ ≤Lt(cm)≤۱۶.۴) was investigated using static bioassay system for ۲۸ day. The sub lethal concentrations used were (۰.۳, ۱.۷, ۱۰, ۶۰ and ۳۰۰ µg/L) and ۰.۰۰(control) mg. L-۱. There were not significant differences (p≤۰.۰۵) in th water quality parameters monitored in both test aquariums and the control. The blood-biochemical and lipid balance confirms that individuals with Aq۵ (CL۹۰) have a mediocre blood disorder [hypochromic microcytic anemia; leukocytosis associated with leukopenia] with an immune response defined by thrombocytopenia. Overall, all of the bioassays (Aq۱, Aq۲, Aq۳, Aq۴ and Aq۵) present a pathology of stress and energy depletion.
