Aims:The moral sensitivity of nurses is related to patient care. The more sensitive nurse in facing ethical challenges in care causes the better patient care she provides. Receiving better ethical care increases patient satisfaction and imposes a less burden of care on society. The purpose is to investigate the relationship between nurses’ moral sensitivity and patient satisfaction in the Iraqi Emergency Wards. Method: Cross-sectional study used to examine the relationship between Nurses’ Moral Sensitivity and Patient Satisfaction in Emergency Wards. Nurses (۲۰۰) and patients (۴۰۰) found in this ward. Three questionnaires were used, including demographic , Newcastle satisfaction and Moral sensitivity. The data analyzed by Spss version ۲۰. Results: According to the finding, there was a positive relationship between patient satisfaction and moral sensitivity (r=۰.۶۶۲; p=۰.۰۰۱). conclusion: Nurses frequently face difficult situations while caring for patients in emergency departments. In order to face these conditions and make ethical decisions, the nurse must have acceptable moral sensitivity. When nurses are morally sensitive to patient care, the patient recognizes it, and satisfaction from receiving nursing care increases.
