In this study, the effect of the presence of baffle and its height on increasing the heat transfer of copper nanofluid with water based on laminar flow range has been numerically investigated. The results indicate that the greater the height difference between the two baffles, the pressure drop, the maximum Nusselt number and maximum velocity also increase. Also, the results show that due to the increase in the difference in the height of the baffles, the size and number of vortices in the area after the step, between the two baffles and after the second baffle are decreased.
