Somatic chromosome numbers of ۶ species from ۳ families were studied in this research. The chromosome numbers for ۳ taxa including Dicyclophora persica ۲n=۲۲,Pycnocycla caespitosa ۲n=۲۲, and Phlomis polioxantha ۲n=۲۰ are new reports.Also, the chromosome number of Halimodendron halodendron ۲n= ۱۶ has been reported here for the first time for the flora of Iran. ThechromosomenumberofPycnocyclaspinosaandEremostachys macrophylla is۲n=۲۲. Ideograms are depicted for each species.
