Chromosome numbers are given for ۳۰ species of Cruciferae belonging to ۲۷ genera from Iran. Aethionema trinervium var. apterocarpum (۲n=۱۴), Anastatica hierochuntica (۲n=۲۲), Boreava orientalis (۲n=۱۴), Brossardia papyracea (۲n=۲۸), Buchingera axillaris (۲n= ۱۶), Cithareloma lehmanii (۲n = ۲۶), Clastopus erubescens (۲n = ۱۶), Cryptospora falcata (۲n=۱۴), Didymophysa aucheri (۲n=۱۴), Eremobium aegyptiacum (۲n = ۱۶), Farsetia heliophila (۲n=۲۴), Fortuynia bungei (۲n=۳۲), Graellsia stylosa (۲n= ۱۴), Hesperis persica (۲n= ۱۲), Isatis koeie (۲n=۱۴), I. kotschyana (۲n=۲۸), I. leuconeura (۲n=۱۴), Lachnoloma lehmanii (۲n=۱۴), Lepidium cartilagineum (۲n=۱۶), Matthiola alyssifolia (۲n=۱۴), M. afghanica (۲n=۱۲), Micrantha multicaulis (۲n=۱۴), Moricandia sinaica (۲n=۲۸), Octoceras lehmannianum (۲n = ۱۴). Peltaria angustifolia (۲n = ۱۴), Physorrhynchus chamaerapistrum (۲n=۳۲), Spirrorhynchus sabulosus (۲n=۱۴), Srtoganowia affghana (۲n=۱۶), Tetracme quadricornis (۲n=۱۴), Zerdana anchonioides (۲n=۱۴). Of these, the chromosome numbers of ۲۵ species and ۱۱ genera were unknown previously-Based on chromosomal and morphological characters, some taxonomic relationships are suggested for these taxa.
