خلاصه مقاله:
Introduction & Objective: The property fetal health evaluation is the primarygoal of midwifery care. In embryos that have been reduced movement due tohypoxia or asphyxia one of the key to maintaining or recovery the health of thefetus is through the simple and most effective method. The accompaniment ofVibroacoustic stimulation with NST to reduce the non-reactive fetal rate andduration of the test was proposed. The aim of this study was to evaluate theresults of these two tests with BPP which is time-consuming and costly. Fortypregnant women who had non-reactive NST results were recruited in this clinicaltrial. The inclusion criteria were: gestational age≥۳۲ weeks; single pregnancy;cephalic presentation; lack of labor pain; lack of fetal malformations; no smoking;and no medications which cause depression in fetus. We used electric brush forthree seconds on the women's abdomen near the fetus' skull. Then NST wascontinued for ten minutes. If we observed two accelerations which lasted at least۱۵ seconds we considered the result to be reactive. The results were comparedwith the results of the biophysical profile. After stimulation the rate of nonreactiveresults reduced from ۴۰ to ۱۲ cases (۹۵%). In most of the participants(۴۲.۸%) who responded to vibroacoustic stimulation the reaction occurred inless than ۱۵ seconds. The average time of the test was ۵.۵ minutes. Most of theparticipants (۹۵%) had normal biophysical profile score. There were no statisticalrelationship between the results of vibroacoustic stimulation with age gestationalage and parity. Vibrational acoustic stimulation decreased the non-reactiveand test duration and the response of the embryo to vibrational stimulationsimultaneously with the NST showed similar results to BPP but the inexpensivetest the simple results of the fetal health were also obtained sooner.Vibroacoustic testing fetal testing fetal heart rate monitoring.
