Introduction: Infidelity can have adverse effects on the lives of couples, and the role of integrative self-knowledge and a sense of vitality can affect people's attitudes toward infidelity. Objective: The present study investigated the role of integrative self-knowledge and a sense of vitality in the attitude toward infidelity. Methods: This study includes couples in South Khorasan province, Qaenat city. The number of people participating in this research is ۱۰۰ (۴۹ men and ۵۱ women) selected by the available sampling method. Results: The results showed that there is a significant relationship between integrative self-knowledge and attitude toward cheating (r=-۰.۴۶۳, p>۰.۰۱), and there is also a significant relationship between feeling alive and attitude toward cheating (r=-۰.۲۱۶, p>۰.۰۵). Conclusion: Findings show the increase in integrative self-knowledge and the feeling of being alive and happy causes a feeling of satisfaction in married life and a change in the attitude towards infidelity.
