Nowadays graphene has attracted great interest for its excellent properties includingmicrowave absorption. Barium ferrite (BaFe۱۲O۱۹), is of great importance as permanentmagnet as well as microwave absorber material. In this research the reduced graphene oxide(rGO) was synthesized through reduction of synthesized graphene oxide. The rGO sheetswere mixed and milled with barium ferrite in a mechanical milling machine. The phaseanalysis and chemical bonding in the synthesized nanocomposites were studied by XRD andFTIR, respectively. The XRD pattern showed both phases of rGO and barium ferrite exist inthe synthesized nanocomposite. The FTIR investigations confirmed that graphite structure ofrGO preserves in the synthesized nanocomposite.
