COIL ACCUMULATORS IN PIPE MILLS

The subject of this paper is the design, manufacturing, and utilization of Kalup's underground double vertical loopers. This type of coil storage equipment is manufactured and utilized for the first time in the world by Kalup Co. to increase the production capacity of the mill. While reviewing the advantages and disadvantages of different accumulator designs, we concentrate on this unique project recently performed.
