A novel modified Glassy carbon electrode by gold nanoparticles/ L-cys/ Dibenzo-18Crown-6: Square wave voltammetry determination of Insulin human blood serum samples

In this study, we have designed and investigated a novel Gc/NP Au/L-Cysteine/Di Benzo- 18Crown-6 Composite Sensor that monitors the presence of Insulin in human blood serumsamples. The significantly high signal-to-noise ratio, wide linear range and low limit of detection for the proposed sensor lead to high sensitivity and selectivity of the sensor. Cyclic and squarewave voltammetry, Impedance Spectroscopy and Scanning Electron Microscopy techniques areused to verify the successful fabrication of the proposed sensor. The sensor does not suffer from coexisting organic and inorganic materials. We expect the sensors of this type to be effective for applications in Insulin detection in biological fluids.
