Introduction: Since its initial appearance in December ۲۰۱۹, the rapid spread of SARS-CoV-۲ has made it aworldwide issue of great concern. The significant rise in the number of patients requiring hospitalization hascreated a potential breeding ground for transmitting healthcare-associated infections. Candida auris is anemerging multidrug-resistant pathogen with improved transmission dynamics and resistance traits. During theworldwide spread of COVID-۱۹, we must consider the alarming increase in C. auris infections. Methods: Three databases namely PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science, as well as the Google Scholar searchengine, were searched from January ۱, ۲۰۱۹ up to September ۱۲, ۲۰۲۳ to identify relevant articles. Studieswritten in English, with data of COVID-۱۹- associated C. auris infections were of interest and eligible. Results: By a literature review, ۳۰ studies were found, of which data of COVID-۱۹-associated C. aurisinfections were extractable in ۱۴ studies (۷۵ cases). COVID-۱۹-associated C. auris infection was more commonin males (۵۱/۷۰, ۷۲. ۶۵%) was the most commonrisk factor, followed by steroid therapy (۴۸/۶۸, ۷۰. Regarding the comorbidities, hypertension ۸۴%) were recorded for the patients in descending order of prevalence. Conclusion: COVID-۱۹ patients are at an elevated risk of contracting C. auris infections due to longer hospitalstays and increased need for intensive care. This fungus can circulate within healthcare settings, leading tooutbreaks. Additionally, the unique conditions in COVID-۱۹ patients promote the selection of drug-resistantorganisms, putting them at risk for coinfections with multidrug-resistant C. auris. Therefore, it is crucial toprioritize prompt diagnosis and targeted treatment of these infections in COVID-۱۹ patients
