Introduction: The convergence of various overlapping risk factors for cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) and infertility has prompted reproductive-age females with underlying CVDs to increasingly seek reproductive assistance. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) and exosomal MicroRNAs are recognized epigenetic modulators that regulate the translation and degradation of target genes. A substantial body of evidence underscores the pivotal role of numerous miRNAs in modulating various aspects of both CVDs and infertility. Methods: In ۲۰۲۳, a systematic search was meticulously conducted through online databases. Results: Studies have identified the significance of miR-۱۵۵-۵p, miRNA-۱۸۵-۵p, miR-۱۲۶, miR-۱۴۵, miR-۲۰۰b, miR-۲۰۴, miR-۱۸۲۷, miR-۵۰۴, miR-LET۷C, miR-۱۲۹۶, and miR-۲۱۵ in the pathogenesis of CVDs, contributing to the development of diverse female infertility-related diseases. Discussion: The dysregulation of miRNAs and exosomal miRNAs may potentially be associated with pathological alterations implicated in the pathogenesis of CVDs, ultimately leading to the development of various female infertility-related diseases. Understanding the underlying mechanisms attributed to the contribution of miRNAs in these processes facilitates the identification of novel biomarkers, as well as the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for female infertility and CVDs.
