From the beginning, mankind has tried to draw inspiration from nature and the environment around him to build and design the places and equipment he needs. In the meantime, bionics is a science that can solve technical and structural problems through biological means, in other words, it can be inspired by living models. And in this regard, sustainable architecture can have an impact on the quality of the final product and identify a sustainable process. The purpose of writing this essay is to examine the knowledge and architecture of bionics and determine its place in architecture to achieve a type of architecture that is sustainable and harmonious with nature. The skill in absorbing and applying the features of order and system hidden in nature and transferring it into human learning is the beginning of the emergence of a trend whose roots can be seen from the past, and today the release of these learnings is expressed in the majority of "bionic" science. In recent years, inspiration and metaphor from nature has entered the field of architecture and has created a new approach in design to ease the concern of achieving a perfect architecture. What is called "bionic architecture" today is the result of the efforts of architects who, with a new approach to architecture and structure, try to overcome the defects and human errors in construction. The purpose of this research is to recognize the concept of bionic architecture and determine its place in architecture and urban planning, in order to achieve a conventional type of architecture with the principles of sustainable architecture and in harmony with nature.
