Abstract:
The need to global food security is considered a challenge and the process of increasing food production has caused pesticides and herbicides to accumulate in the soil and heavy metals and their toxic elements have negatively influenced the agricultural environment. The entry of these toxic elements into the body via agricultural products causes neurological disorders, metabolic disorders, infertility and disruption of human biological functions. therefore, reliable methods for monitoring the agricultural ecosystem are needed. This monitoring is done by chromatography techniques, which have multiple constraints, being expensive, tedious with cumbersome protocol, demanding sophisticated appliances along with skilled personnel and due to the mentioned limitations, scientists have used nanoscience in the past few decades and have invented nanosensors that can accurately and quickly measure ecosystems in a short period of time.
