خلاصه مقاله:
Iranian architecture and related spaces have benefited from different local patterns. Badgir is one of the native models of Iranian architecture, which is designed for the comfort and improvement of human life. Geometry is one of the basic features of Iranian architecture, which the architect of the past has tried to use with his skill and knowledge in designing these sustainable local patterns, including wind turbines. Today, most houses, especially in tropical regions, depend on air conditioning systems using different energies such as electricity. Searching for some technologies with clean and efficient energy is very important in energy strategies. Learning the principles and some lessons of sustainable traditional architecture in hot climates can help us find ways to reduce energy consumption. Integration of these principles by decision makers in sustainable and clean energy strategies will be useful. In this article, an attempt is made to introduce a traditional method of cooling in the hot climate of Iran. The main goal is to show the usability of this system and also to reduce energy consumption by using this system. In this regard, we conclude that wind deflectors are wind deflectors that work as air conditioners. The city of Yazd in Iran is mostly known as Badgir city. Wind deflectors are designed to be opened to catch the wind from different directions. The air is then cooled and cleaned as it travels down the tower, which in turn cools the rooms below.
