خلاصه مقاله:
This study explores the impact of place identity components on enhancing the sense of belonging to a place. Place identity and sense of belonging are emotional bonds people form with their surroundings, influencing their desire to maintain a relationship with a place over time. The complexity of these interactions often leads to confusion about the significance and functions of place identity. This study uses multi-attribute decision-making to analyze the importance of place identity components in strengthening the sense of belonging. The spatial, individual, and psychological dimensions were weighted using the Best-Worst Method (BWM). The legible physical characteristics of a place, including arrangement, greenness, landscape features, buildings, signs, nodes, and commercial complexes, were prioritized using the ELECTRE method. Activity vitality characteristics and activity satisfaction characteristics were ranked second in importance. Image readability features and security knowledge features were ranked third, while the diversity of activity selection features was ranked fourth.
