Abstract:
Today, the marine transportation industry is one of the largest and most significant industries in the world.Large ships are responsible for transportation of commodities and energy in the world. Optimizing marinediesel engine saves a lot of money and also reduces emissions to a great extent. Today, most marine dieselengines use RTA and RT-flex systems for injection, timing, etc. These systems have a significant impacton engine performance, fuel consumption and emissions. To optimize these two systems, it isrecommended to use ۴ optimization functions VEC, CLU-۳, CCO-۳, VIT+FQS. Each of these functionsimprove the controllability or performance of each part of the engine by using information such as enginespeed, VIT actuator valves, fuel quality, valve position, and with the help of ۲ types of control signalsCharge air pressure signal and Load indicator signal, which ultimately leads to the improvement of themarine diesel engine performance in different conditions, reducing fuel consumption, reducing emissions,reducing repair costs and etc
