Today’s children and families often have limited opportunities to connect with the natural environment. Children spend more time viewing television and playing video games than being physically active outside. These changes have led to social and psychological problems. The aim of this article is to the necessity of sports parks design to improve children's interaction with nature. Current research shows that natural environments are beneficial to children in many ways. Nature can generate many positive emotions, such as calmness, joy, and creativity. children’s social, psychological, academic, and physical health is positively impacted by daily contact with nature. Therefore, playing in sports parks is important for developing capacities for creativity, and intellectual development. sports parks can provide children with rich educational opportunities, particularly in the areas of social skills and environmental learning.
